The amazing thing is that it does change, and when it does it’s crazy, but I find leg behind the head pretty comfortable these days!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15116019137129845041noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8484224339317817645.post-64244819097451544702018-07-04T08:13:49.219+05:302018-07-04T08:13:49.219+05:30Hi, yes. The back looses flexibility as it strengthens, it took me sometime to get comfortable in kapo again and to a point I still struggle on certain days. But I get a sense this is for the best, it balances out in the end, strong back, strong spirit. The flexibility then returns slowly.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15116019137129845041noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8484224339317817645.post-10757562169406882732018-07-04T08:07:46.140+05:302018-07-04T08:07:46.140+05:30I eventually moved through it, it took almost 3 ye...I eventually moved through it, it took almost 3 years; dwipada took maybe another 9months, I was in dwipada when my back got injured, not particularly from the pose though it may have had something to do with it. For those with tight hips leg behind the head takes time. I think there is a reason adjustments are rarely given here, these poses are meant to change on their own, and if it’s alowly, it’s ok. It’s more sustainable this way. I've wanted to get past it for so long. I actually was doing it for a few short weeks. The rest of my practice is strong and balanced, why am I stuck here? Someday, I hope.Smac63https://www.blogger.com/profile/08784014519237560793noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8484224339317817645.post-73991640900582539392017-04-12T19:57:44.938+05:302017-04-12T19:57:44.938+05:30I started with the ekapada process six months ago....I started with the ekapada process six months ago. It's been very painful and I've been suffering with a lowerback pain that has compromised my practice sometimes. Kapotasana and dropbacks became a nightmare all over again... looks like my toraxic is stiffer after ekapada. have you been feeling the same? It truly is the ego-deflating asana for me, and I learned how to just let it be, trusting that when the times comes and when I had cleared my body of emotional junk, the eka pada would happen.
